Crash Knocked Down Power to Parts of Cerritos
Authorities reported live wires were down at the corner of 193rd Street and Bechard Avenue. Power is expected to be restored by 12:30 p.m.
CERRITOS, CA -- Parts of Cerritos were without power Tuesday morning after a crash knocked down power lines, the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department reported.
The crash happened around 11:20 a.m. at the corner of 193rd Street and Bechard Avenue, according to a sheriff's department tweet. The crash knocked out power to 1,414 customers, according to Southern California Edison.
SCE estimates that power will be fully restored by around 12:30 p.m.

There was a planned outage in the other side of town. About 500 customers were affected by that outage and power is expected to be restored by 8 p.m. Tuesday, SCE said.
