Statewide Amber Alert Issued for Missing Teen
The 16-year-old, who was allegedly kidnapped by two men in Monterrey County, has been missing since Saturday night.

A statewide Amber Alert remained in effect this morning as authorities searched for a 16-year-old girl allegedly kidnapped by two men in San Ardo in Monterrey County.
Eunice Serrato taken at 9:45 p.m. Saturday, July 28 by a man and his son, according to authorities.
They were initially believed to be driving a blue Chevy Tahoe, but the Monterrey County Sheriff's Department said this morning it now believes the kidnappers are driving a tan 2007 Honda Civic, California license number 6JUK098.

Serrato is Hispanic, 5 feet 5, 130 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a blue and white shirt, pink jacket, blue jeans and sandals.
One of the suspects was identified as 19-year-old Juan Manuel Salazar and described as Hispanic, 5 feet 8, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes, possibly wearing glasses. He also could have a gunshot wound and is considered armed and dangerous, according to authorities.

The other suspect was identified as Salazar's father, 39-year-old Juan Salazar Sr., who is Hispanic, 5 feet 8, with brown hair and brown eyes.
The younger Salazar was Serrato's boyfriend, the Monterey County Herald reported.
The missing girl's parents returned from dinner around 10 p.m. Saturday to find the bodies of two men in their bathroom and their daughter missing, the Herald reported. The men, both shot, had no known relationship to the couple.
Anyone with information on Serrato's whereabouts was urged to call 911 or a local law enforcement agency.
