Investigation Continues Into Norwalk Homicide

Authorities today released the man of a man fatally shot in Norwalk, but it's unclear who shot him or why.

The attack happened around 1 a.m. Thursday in the 11500 block of Angell Street, said Lt. Stacy Morgan of the Los Angeles County sheriff's Norwalk Station. The man died at a hospital.

The victim was identified as 41-year-old Michael Rios, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

No arrests were reported. Anyone with more information about the crime was urged to call the Sheriff's Homicide Bureau, (323) 890-5500.
