Items Being Collected Wednesday for 1st CEB Marines in Afghanistan
Donation barrels will be at Cerritos City Hall and Liberty Park Wednesday, Aug. 1 until 5 p.m.
The 1st CEB Adoption Committee is collecting items to send to 1st CEB Marines currently in Afghanistan.
Donations can be dropped off in the donation barrels at on Wednesday, Aug. 1 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and at in Cerritos from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.

- beef jerky
- granola bars
- trail mix
- tuna pouches
- powdered drink mixes
(Individual servings/snack packs of the above items is preferred.)
Local residents are also invited to assist with the care package assembly at Liberty Park from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. on August 1, at which time volunteers will stuff bags with the items for shipment to the Marines.
