Man Wounded in Stabbing During Fight at Mentro Station in Norwalk
The wounded man was hospitalized in critical but stable condition. There were no descriptions for the assailant.

NORWALK, CA - A man was critically stabbed during a fight with another man at a Metro Green Line Station in Norwalk, and his assailant remained at large Thursday, authorities said.
The violence occurred about 11:55 p.m. Wednesday on the platform of the station, which is southwest of Imperial Highway and Studebaker Road, said Ramon Montenegro of the sheriff's Transit Services Bureau.
The wounded man was hospitalized in critical but stable condition, Montenegro said.

The Green Line's Norwalk Station was closed for a time, and buses were brought in to accommodate rail passengers, Montenegro said.
No description was available of the suspect. Anyone with information on the crime was urged to call (888) 950-SAFE.
