Motorist Backs Into Pregnant Woman and Child in Bellflower
A pregnant woman and 5-year-old girl suffered cuts and bruises when motorist struck them and pushed them into the glass storefront of a Sprint cell phone store in Bellflower.

A motorist backed a car into a pregnant woman and a 5-year-old girl who were walking in front of a Bellflower store on Wednesday afternoon, pushing them into the shop's glass window.
The woman and girl were struck by the car about 3:15 p.m. and were pushed into the window of a Sprint cell phone store near Rosecrans Avenue and Lakewood Boulevard, according to Sgt. Steve Moses of the Lakewood Sheriff's Station.
The woman received stitches for cuts on her arm and the 5-year-old was treated for small cuts and bruises, Moses said.

The circumstances of the accident remained under investigation, according to the Sheriff's Department.
