Brown, 11 Other Dem. Governors Warn Trump: Don't Pull Out Of Paris Agreement

Breaking: The Governors say the potential downsides to pulling out of the agreement could be disastrous.

SACRAMENTO, CA — California Governor Jerry Brown joined 11 of his Democratic counterparts across the nation Wednesday, urging President Trump not to pull out of the Paris Climate Agreement, according to a statement on the state's website.

"Maintaining the U.S. commitment is essential to protect our residents, and indeed, all Americans from the potentially catastrophic impacts of a changing climate," the statement reads.

Brown was joined by Governors in New York, Oregon, Washington, Pennsylvania, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Hawaii, Minnesota, Virginia, and Rhode Island.
