Jan Le Sentenced in 2010 Citrus Heights Murder
Le was found guilty of stabbing to death her girlfriend in March 2010.

Jan Le will spend the next 26 years to life in prison for killing her girlfriend, Monica Anderson, during an argument in Anderson’s Citrus Heights apartment in March 2010.
The Sacramento County District Attorney’s office announced the sentencing today. Le was convicted by jury of first-degree murder and the use of a knife in stabbing to death 26-year-old Anderson during an argument, according to the district attorney’s office.
The Sacramento Bee reports that Le, 20 at the time, stabbed Anderson 91 times with a butcher knife during a fight reportedly over a cell phone charger. The two had spent the night partying and came back to Anderson’s Citrus Heights apartment, where the stabbing occurred, according to the Bee.
