Sexting App Leads to Arrest of Citrus Heights Man After Alleged Sex With 14-Year-Old
After meeting on a sex photo exchange phone app, Citrus Heights man arrested for allegedly having sex with a Rocklin girl.
A Citrus Heights man was arrested by police on Monday for allegedly engaging in sex with a 14-year-old Rocklin girl he met through sexting apps, according to News 10.
Rocklin police told News 10, they were first told about the girl who had sent explicit photos of herself to suspect Jacob Mora and he exchanged similar pictures of himself. Then the two met and engaged in sexual relations.
Based on their investigation, detectives believe it wasn't the first time the 29-year-old Mora engaged in such activity. They say he used apps such as WHATSUP, KIK and MEETME to send text messages and photos of his genitals to underage girls in order to first strike up a sexting relationship and then try to meet for sex.

Investigators suspect Mora has been participating in such activity for several years and they urged anyone with knowledge of such involving Mora to ask for them at (916) 625-5400.
