Tomato Tasting Contest: During the Farmers Market at Sunrise Mall, you can participate in BeMoneySmartUSA's 2nd annual Tomato Tasting Contest. You'll be able to sample heirloom, hybrid and cherry tomatoes and then vote for your favorite.
When: 9:30 a.m. to noon Saturday, Sept. 8

Sylvan Cemetery 150th Anniversary: The celebration will include tours of the historic portion of the cemetery as well as a silent auction. Commemorative bricks will also be available in the memory of loved ones or to recognize a family or veteran and will be placed at the base of the bell tower. There will also be cupcakes, cookies and drinks.
When: 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 8; guided tours at noon and 2 p.m.

: "Kool and the Gang" with "The Commodores" will perform during Saturday's Sunrise at Night Concert Series. Some of "Kool and the Gang's" popular hits include Celebration, Get Down on It and Ladies' Night.
