The Pooch Park will be temporarily closed from Friday, April 1, 2022 to Monday, May 2, 2022 for turf rest, renovation, and maintenance. No dogs or park patrons are allowed in the Pooch Park during this time. It is imperative that the turf is allowed this opportunity to rest to ensure the turf remains healthy and vibrant. Continued use during this downtime will result in excessive wear resulting in bare patches and an uneven growth pattern. During the closure, residents may visit other Claremont parks that are pet friendly, which include the Claremont Hills Wilderness Park, Thompson Creek Trail, and Rancho San Jose Park. Residents may also visit pooch parks in adjacent cities, such as San Dimas, Upland, Ontario, and Rancho Cucamonga.
