Claremont Burglary Suspects Caught

The incident happened at 7:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Brigham Young Drive.

CLAREMONT, CA -- Two people were arrested Saturday night for allegedly burglarizing a home in Claremont. The incident happened at 7:45 p.m. in the 900 block of Brigham Young Drive, according to the Claremont Police Department.

Police said Pedro Rodriguez, 24, of Ontario and Alexis Perera, 23, transient from Huntington Park, used a rock to enter a home before they stole jewelry and pursues.

The men fled the scene but were later spotted by a victim of the relative, police said.

Perera is being held at the Claremont Police Department Jail on a "no bail parole hold" and Rodriguez is being held at LA County Jail in lieu of $50,000.00 bail.

Their scheduled arraignment date is set for Tuesday May 22, 2018, at 8:30 AM in Pomona Superior Court.
