Classic Car Show Cruises Into La Verne In September

LA VERNE, CA — Gearheads will have a chance to check out around 800 classic cars when the Cool Cruise Car Show returns to La Verne on Sept. 11.

The show is free to attend and will be held from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m, and vintage cars will be on display throughout the downtown area.

“We are thrilled to be able to bring this event back to the city of La Verne, which is a community I have known and loved for many years,” Craig Hoelzel, the event’s organizer, said in a statement. “In addition to being a great time, the Cool Cruise Car Show also provides opportunities to give back and contribute to the community.”

In addition to the car show, the event will also feature a raffle drawing where people can win prizes like gift cards and a hot dog roller. Proceeds from the raffle will be donated to the La Verne K9 Police Foundation, city officials said. Attendees are also encouraged to bring dry or canned foods to donate to the Orange County Food Bank.
