Dorner's Mom Sighted at a Restaurant During Stand-Off
As Dorner stand-off unfolds on a TV in a LaPalma restaurant, a woman presumed to be his mother and another woman watched it over Chardonnay. Half an hour later and alone, she enters and remains in his home.
While a stand-off unfolded live on televsion Tuesday between presumed accused murderer Christopher Dorner and deputies, a woman identified as his mother was seen at a L aPalma restaurant - watching it on TV.
Just before 4 p.m., a woman in a gray Honda pulled into the driveway of a home on Sharon Drive identified in public records as belonging to Dorner's mother. She stepped out of the car, emptied the mailbox and entered the home.
Reporters rang the doorbell, but no one answered. Neighbors later identified the woman who entered the home as 62-year-old Nancy Dorner, mother to Christopher Jordan Dorner who is accused of killing four people and wounding at least three others. Among the people he's suspected of shooting is Monica Quan, a former Walnut High School star athlete.

KCAL9 reporter Michelle Gile, who was inside the restaurant, the woman later identified by a neighbor as Nancy Dorner, was with a blonde woman in the bar area having a glass of wine and eating chips and salsa while watching live footage unfold of the Dorner manhunt and shootout in the mountains. The reporter approached the two women and asked if they knew Dorner -- both said no but appeared nervous, according to KCAL9.
About 3:30 p.m. minutes before the woman came home, someone who appeared to be wearing the same clothing and carrying the same purse -- fitting the description of Dorner's mother -- was spotted at La Capilla Mexican Restaurant, located near the La Palma home.
