National Night Out Returns To Claremont's Memorial Park In August
The Claremont Police Department will host the family-friendly event on Aug. 3.
CLAREMONT, CA — Community members are invited to enjoy an evening out with the neighbors as the Claremont Police Department hosts National Night Out at Memorial Park.
National Night Out is an event hosted by law enforcement agencies across the country to help strengthen relationships between them and the communities they serve, according to the event's organizers. The Claremont event will be held from 6 to 9 p.m.
The event will feature a screening of the "Tom & Jerry" movie as well as food and drinks. Residents can also learn more about programs put on by the police department, including its Community Emergency Response Teams, the CPD Explorers and its community volunteers.
