The City of La Verne hosted its annual Fourth of July celebration, including its popular fireworks show at Bonita High School.
La Verne celebrated the Fourth of July in patriotic style Thursday at the Bonita High School stadium.
The celebration of the nation's birthday started off with a pancake breakfast hosted by Boy Scout Troop 411. There was also a 2.25-mile parade through La Verne's downtown, a county fair at Ronyon Elementary School and barbecue meal hosted by the Methodist Church.
The evening capped off with a impressive display of fireworks set to a soundtrack of patriotic songs.
