1 Arrest Made, 1 Suspect Sought In Concord Homicide Investigation: PD

CONCORD, CA — One arrest has been made and another suspect is sought in a fatal shooting Tuesday in Concord, police said in an update.

Two men were shot around 10 a.m. Tuesday in a shopping center at 2182 Solano Way. One of the victims died at the scene while the other was hospitalized.

Later in the evening, detectives arrested 19-year-old Haley Sparks Hadsell, of Martinez, in connection with the homicide, Concord police Lt. Sean Donnelly said.

The other suspect, Sione "Ono" Amanaki, 20, of Concord, had not been located as of late Tuesday night.

"Amanaki knows he is wanted and may be hiding out in the City of Oakland," Donnelly said.

Police declined to share further details as the case remained under investigation.
