Car Collides With Transformer In Concord, Causing Fire: Police
The incident closed Willow Pass Road in both directions, police said.
CONCORD, CA — A car crashed into a transformer Monday night on Willow Pass Road in Concord, resulting in a fire, police said.
All lanes of Willow Pass Road were closed near the scene of the incident, which was reported at 7:31 p.m. Monday at 3510 Willow Pass Road.
The Contra Costa County Fire Protection District was working a commercial fire at that location as of 8:15 p.m.
