Concord Homebuilder Donates $12K To El Monte Elementary School
The money was used for a new audio/visual system which was put to use with the school's spring production of Disney's "Aladdin" musical.

CONCORD, CA β Trumark Homes hosted a ceremonial check presentation Wednesday at El Monte Elementary School in Concord. School and city officials were on hand as the homebuilder donated $12,000 to El Monte Elementary School to provide a new audio/visual system for the schoolβs auditorium.
El Monte students also joined the ceremony, which was planned to coincide with the schoolβs spring play debut, the Disney KIDS musical, "Aladdin" β the first production at the school since the new equipment was installed.
El Monte Elementary School Principal Jeffrey Miles was accompanied by students and staff in welcoming Laura Hoffmeister, mayor of Concord; Carlyn Obringer, District 2 City councilmember; and Mt. Diablo Unified School District Board of Education trustees and administrators.

βOur students and staff are so appreciative to Trumark Homes for this investment in our school and the upgrade to our auditoriumβs technology for our activities and events,β Miles said. βThe impact of gifts like this cannot be overstated, and we are grateful for this opportunity to debut the new A/V system for our spring production.β

Trumark Homes recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with Concord officials to launch sales at Penny Lane, a charming, luxury townhome community located near El Monte Elementary School and the adjacent 30-acre Concord Community Park.
