Coronado Bridge Reopens After Apparently Suicidal Man Taken Into Custody

The bridge was shut down for about two hours Wednesday evening.

CORONADO, CA β€” An apparently suicidal man who was perched on the Coronado Bridge has been taken into custody by police, and all lanes on the span have reopened Wednesday, police officials said. The bridge was closed for about two hours, according to city officials. Drivers were encouraged to use the Silver Strand as an alternate route during the closure.
