PAWS of Coronado is celebrating June’s Adopt-a-Shelter-Cat Month with adoption specials, culminating with their annual Open House and Adoption Event at the Coronado Animal Care Facility.
Adopt-A-Shelter Cat Month coincides with “kitten season” and focuses attention on felines in shelters waiting for their homes. During kitten season, thousands of kittens are born into local shelters, resulting in their highest population of orphaned cats and kittens. PAWS is no exception.
At PAWS, during the entire month of June, adoption fees are just $40.00 for the first cat and $20.00 for a second cat.
