Teagan Taylor Trio Receives Best Jazz Album Nomination
The Teagan Taylor Trio performs monthly at the Coronado Ferry Landing. The 2013 San Diego Music Awards will be held Oct. 9 at Humphrey's By the Bay in San Diego.

The Teagan Taylor Trio, who perform regularly at the Coronado Ferry Landing, have been nominated in the Best Jazz Album category for the 2013 San Diego Music Awards.
Released in May and currently number nine on Reverbnation.com jazz charts for San Diego, Hello is the Teagan Taylor Trio's third album. The Trio were nominated in the same category in 2012 for their second album Wonderland.
The sometimes mellow, sometimes electric act is made up of lead singer Teagan Taylor, whose voice has been compared to Norah Jones, her brother Dylan Taylor on guitar and their father Tim Taylor on bass.
"We are very proud of this new album, and are quite honored to be nominated again this year, and are extremely happy that our music is being acknowledged in the music industry," said Dylan Taylor.
Nominations are decided by a a group of radio DJs, bar and venue owners and music journalists. The 2013 San Diego Music Awards will be held Oct. 9 at Humphrey's By the Bay.
Teagan Taylor Trio released their first music video, To the Moon, last fall.
