1 Injured In Cupertino House Fire
Santa Clara County firefighters were able to contain the blaze on McClellan Road to the home's kitchen
CUPERTINO, CA — Firefighters successfully prevented a kitchen fire from spreading through a house in Cupertino late Saturday morning, according to a spokesperson for the Santa Clara County Fire Department.
The fire, at a residence in the 22000 block of McClellan Road, was reported at approximately 10:34 a.m. Responding firefighters were able to contain the fire to the kitchen eight minutes later, at 10:42 a.m. The fire was under control at 11 a.m.
One person was transported to a local hospital with minor injuries.
