Arrest Made In Fatal August South Bay House Party Shooting

SUNNYVALE, CA — An 18-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of a fatal shooting at a party in Sunnyvale in August, the city's Department of Public Safety said Thursday.
Sean James Jr. was arrested Wednesday in connection with the killing of Elias Elhania and was booked into Santa Clara County Juvenile Hall because he was 17 at the time of the shooting, public safety officials said.
The 18-year-old Elhania and another person were found shot when officers responded on the night of Aug. 7 to the home in the 1400 block of Navarro Drive where about 150 to 200 people were at a house party.

Investigators eventually identified James as the suspected shooter and arrested him Wednesday at a home in the 1000 block of Aster Avenue, and also found several handguns and ammunition via a search warrant, public safety officials said.
