Buses Carrying Apple, Google Workers Damaged In Freeway Incidents
BREAKING: Windows were shattered on five charter buses on Interstate Highway 280. California Highway Patrol is investigating the incidents.

SILICON VALLEY, CA — Five charter buses carrying tech workers had windows damaged Tuesday while driving on Interstate Highway 280, according to the California Highway Patrol. "We're not certain what caused the damage at this time, but we're not ruling anything out," CHP Officer Art Montiel said.
Some of the buses were headed north, others were headed south, but they all were damaged on Highway 280 somewhere between state Highway 84 and state Highway 85, a section of roadway that spans San Mateo and Santa Clara counties.
Some of the incidents occurred in the morning, while others occurred in the evening.

Four of the buses were carrying workers for Cupertino-based tech giant Apple, while the other was carrying workers for Mountain View-based Google. None of the buses were marked.
"So there's no indication that they're being targeted," Montiel said.
