Winter's Gifts returns to the South Bay, offering an evening of radiant music that comforts the soul and fills the season with joy. In partnership with the San Jose Chamber Orchestra, The Choral Project presents this cherished holiday tradition for one night only. The concert invites audiences to experience a luminous program that blends classical masterworks with contemporary and global compositions, celebrating the season's spirit of reflection, hope, and peace.

This year's program includes pieces that span centuries and continents, reflecting The Choral Project's commitment to inclusive, emotionally resonant programming. Selections such as the Nigerian carol "Betelehemu," arranged by Wendell Whalum and adapted by The Choral Project Artistic Director and Founder Daniel Hughes, Flory Jagoda's "Buen Shabbat/Ocho Kandelikas," arranged by local composer Michael Touchi, and Anica Galindo's "A Wintry Vale" sit alongside classic choral treasures such as Franz Biebl's "Ave Maria (Angelus Domini)," Vivaldi's "Winter" (from La Quattro Stagioni), and Felix Mendelssohn's "There Shall a Star Come Out of Jacob." Each work contributes to an evening of contrasting textures, moods, and perspectives, all unified by a sense of warmth, hope, and joy.

Attending Winter's Gifts: COMFORT & JOY is not only an opportunity to experience world-class music, but also a chance to support two nonprofits with deep roots in the South Bay community. The Choral Project and the San Jose Chamber Orchestra have spent decades serving as storytellers and beacons of hope, using music to connect people across generations, faiths, and cultures. Each ticket purchased supports these organizations and helps ensure that transformative music remains a vibrant part of the region's cultural life.

$25-50.
