Cupertino Composting Class Slated For June 1
Cupertino residents may master the art of creating a compost pile or worm bin with a class scheduled next month.

CUPERTINO, CA — Landscapers wanting to get closer to the Earth and its creepy crawlies is invited next month to attend a workshop where they'll learn to build compost piles and develop worm bins.
The class is set from 10 a.m. to noon at the McClellan Ranch Preserve at 22221 McClellan Rd. in Cupertino. Those interested may register in advance at UCCE Composting Education Program registration or by calling 408-918-4640.
Cupertino residents who attend a class are eligible to receive a free composting or worm bin. Only one free bin is provided per household and may be secured by contacting environmental@cupertino.org to schedule delivery after the workshop has been completed.
