SUNNYVALE - Detectives with Sunnyvale's Department of Public Safety have arrested a former Sunnyvale and Santa Clara resident and charged him with multiple counts of child molestation, according to officials.64 year-old James McNealy Carroll, a current resident of Roseville, was taken into custody Wednesday on a $500,000 felony arrest warrant for six counts of child molestation. According to DPS officials, the incidents reportedly occurred from the late 1980s through 1997 while Carroll lived in Santa Clara and Sunnyvale. Authorities say Carroll is currently employed as a teacher for Horizon Charter Schools in Placer County, and is reported to be active in youth ministries. James McNealy Carroll was booked into the Santa Clara County Jail.Detectives say anyone with information related to this case is encouraged to contact the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety, Investigations Division at (408) 730-7120.
