Freeway Reopens In Santa Clara Following Shooting

All lanes of the Lawrence Expressway were shut down after midnight upon police responding to a shooting near Cabrillo Avenue.

SANTA CLARA, CA -- Lawrence Expressway in Santa Clara has reopened after a shooting prompted its closure early this morning, according to police.

Police shut down the expressway between Cabrillo Avenue and Monroe Street to investigate the shooting that occurred at about 12:30 a.m. No injuries were reported in the shooting and no arrest has been
made.

Police said all lanes of Lawrence Expressway reopened as of shortly after 7:50 a.m.
