Hills, Valley Turn A Lush Green: Photos Of The Day
A soggy start to 2024 has turned the Santa Clara Valley and its surrounding hills a lush green.

CUPERTINO, CA — If you are an old movie buff you may be familiar with the 1941 film, How Green Was My Valley. It starred Maureen O'Hara, Walter Pidgeon and Roddy McDowell, and was based on a 1939 novel by Richard Llewellyn.
Elizabeth Davies shared a pair of photos taken last weekend from the Cupertino Foothills at Rancho San Antonio. The Santa Clara Valley and surrounding hills are a lush green from recent rains.
