Man Arrested After Report He Carried Gun Into Santa Clara Library
The midday domestic violence call on Monday prompted the nearby St. Justin School to lock down for a few minutes.
SANTA CLARA, CA-- A man was arrested at Santa Clara Central Park Library Monday
morning after he reportedly walked into the building with a gun, according to Santa Clara police.
The domestic violence call came in at 11:32 a.m., and several officers responded to the scene. The nearby St. Justin School was under lockdown for a few minutes, according to police. They located the suspect and arrested him, and no injuries were reported.
Police have not confirmed whether he had a gun. There are no outstanding suspects, but the case is still under investigation, and the suspect's information has not been released.
