Pedestrian Killed In South Bay Crash
Two vehicles were involved in the crash, which occurred Monday night in Sunnyvale, authorities said.
SUNNYVALE, CA — A pedestrian was killed Monday night in a South Bay crash involving two vehicles, authorities said.
Officers and fire personnel at around 10:30 p.m. responding to the area of Mathilda Ave and Washington Ave on the report of the crash found an adult male pedestrian on the scene with major injuries, the Sunnyvale Department of Public Safety said.
“Lifesaving measures were initiated but the pedestrian succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced deceased,” the agency said.

The drivers of both vehicles remained on scene and have cooperated with investigators, the agency said.
The case remains under investigation.
