Rogue Balloons Knocked Out Power To Santa Clara Customers
Silicon Valley Power staff went to the scene to safety remove the balloons and restore electricity to the 2,500 customers.
SANTA CLARA, CA — Balloons were the culprit of a power outage affecting more than 2,500 customers in Santa Clara, the police department reported at 5:46 p.m.
A Silicon Valley Power troubleshooter worked to remove them and restore power as quickly as possible. Safety can be an issue with removing balloons.
