This workshop slated for March 23 goes over everything you need to know to use the sun's energy to power a home.

CUPERTINO, CA -- The city is putting on a "Going Solar" workshop for those who have always wanted to know the ins and outs of using the sun's power as a utility.
The workshop is scheduled for March 23 from 12:15 p.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Senior Center at 21251 Stevens Creek Boulevard in Cupertino.
Residents will learn about solar photovoltaic for their homes, from the basics of going solar to its economic benefits. Purchasing tips will also be discussed. A special focus will be made on homeowners with low electric bills averaging under $100 per month.
