South Bay Man Caught Exposing Self To Young Children: Police
The 26-year-old with a history of lewd acts was allegedly caught watching children practice gymnastics at a local community center.

SUNNYVALE, CA — A man with a history of lewd acts was arrested for allegedly exposing himself to young children at the Sunnyvale Community Center on Tuesday, according to the city's Department of Public Safety.
At 6:36 p.m., officers arrested Richard Salcida, 26, on suspicion of indecent exposure while watching children practice gymnastics at the community center located at 550 E. Remington Drive, public safety officials said.
Parents saw Salcida expose himself and immediately called 911, which led to officers arresting Salcida as he was attempting to leave the area, department officials said.
Salcida had prior arrests for similar acts in Santa Clara County.

He was recently released from jail after serving time for a previous conviction for indecent exposure.
Salcida was placed on probation at that time and registered as a sex offender, according to public safety officials.

Salcida was booked into Santa Clara County Jail on suspicion of indecent exposure, probation violation, lewd conduct in public and public intoxication.
