Teen Who Killed Dog Walker May Have Been Trying To Steal Pet: Reports
Police believe the 18-year-old might have been attempting a dognapping, although the motive remains under investigation, SFGATE reported.

SAN JOSE, CA — A teen charged with killing a man last month near a San Jose mall may have been trying to steal the victim’s dog, according to SFGATE.
Matthew Antracoli, 18, of San Mateo, was arrested last week in Morgan Hill and booked into Santa Clara County jail on a murder charge, police said.
The shooting occurred around 1:30 p.m. April 19 in the 1000 block of Blossom River Drive, near the Westfield Oakridge Shopping Center, according to police, who said the victim, identified by NBC Bay Area as 41-year-old Jorge Torres Maestre, died at the scene.

Maestre’s family told NBC that he was walking his dog when he was killed. Police believe Antracoli might have been attempting a dognapping, although the motive remains under investigation, SFGATE reported.
