Vehicle Found Submerged In Cupertino Reservoir

The vehicle was abandoned with no one inside, fire officials said via Twitter Sunday night.

CUPERTINO, CA — Santa Clara County Firefighters responded to a call of a submerged vehicle in a Cupertino reservoir Sunday, May 21, only to find the vehicle abandoned with no one inside, fire officials said via Twitter Sunday night.

The fire department located the vehicle submerged in the Stevens Creek Reservoir and extracted it, according to the Twitter postings on the incident.

After the vehicle was towed from the reservoir the incident was turned of to Santa Clara County Sheriff's Department for further investigation.
