Coroner Names Homicide Victims, Says They Died of Multiple Stab Wounds
A coroner has officially identified a man and a woman found stabbed to death in Davis Sunday evening.

The elderly couple killed in Davis Sunday night has been officially identified as Oliver Jennings Northup, Jr., 87 and Claudia Maureen Maupin, 76. The two were married.
The Yolo County Sheriff's Office's coroner made the announcement Tuesday afternoon, saying both died from multiple stab wounds.
The office is investigating the case as a homicide.

The pair was found in their home in the 4000 block of Cowell Boulevard Sunday night.

The Yolo County Sheriff’s Office, Coroner’s Section, has positively identified the two individuals discovered deceased on April 14, 2013 in the 4000 block of Cowell Boulevard in Davis.
Oliver Jennings Northup, Jr., 87 and his wife, Claudia Maureen Maupin, 76 were positively identified. Cause of death was Multiple Stab Wounds for both victims. Manner of death was Homicide for both victims.
