Rita Hosking is hard at work in Austin, Texas on her follow-up to 2009’s successful “Come Sunrise.” She and her band Cousin Jack are described by the Davis Music Festival as a local folk-country force to be reckoned with. Listen to them on their website.

The West Nile Ramblers often refer to themselves as “western garage,” which is a modern twist on swing, country and rock ‘n’ roll. Hear that blend for yourself on MySpace.

Truth & Salvage Company’s style sits comfortably somewhere between country and rock ‘n’ roll. They opened for The Black Crowes in 2009 and for The Avett Brothers in 2010. It’s safe to say that their trajectory is increasing sharply, and we’re quite fortunate to have them in Davis to cap off the night at Odd Fellows Hall. Visit their site to get a feel for their sound.
