2 Davis Organized Retail Theft Suspects Arrested: Cops
The suspects were arrested in connection with two theft incidents the CVS pharmacy at 1550 E. Covell Blvd. in November, police said.
DAVIS, CA — Two organized retail suspects were arrested in last week connection with incidents that occurred in November, Davis police said.
Diamon Russell, a 22-year-old Suisun City woman, and Destiny Gates, a 21-year-old Davis woman were arrested on suspicion of organized retail theft with the intent to sell and grand theft among other crimes, police said.
Gates is also facing an additional illegal possession of ammunition charge, police said.

The suspects were arrested in connection with two theft incidents the CVS pharmacy at 1550 E. Covell Blvd., police said.
They were among four suspects who filled duffle bags with and a 50-gallon bag with items valued at around $2,000, in the first incident, police said.

Russell was arrested on Jan. 19 and Gates the next day, police said.
Their arrests culminated a two-month probe, police said.
The same four suspects returned to the store 20 minutes later and stole personal care items valued at $5,000, police said.
During a search of Gates’ home officers found ammunition that she was prohibited from possessing, which resulted in additional charges, police said.
