Elk Grove Man Gets DUI After Driving Wrong Way on Mace Offramp
The officers performed a DUI evaluation and determined that Chowdhury was driving while under the influence of alcohol.

A 33-year-old man was arrested for DUI after driving in the wrong direction on the Mace offramp in Davis Sunday, according to California Highway Patrol.
Soonam Morshed Chowdhury, of Elk Grove, was driving a 2011 Hyundai Elantra on northbound Mace Boulevard at the time, according to CHP:

Woodland CHP officer observed the Hyundai turn onto the westbound I-80 off-ramp. The Hyundai began driving the wrong way on the off-ramp when the officers made a traffic stop.
The officers contacted Chowdhury and observed that he was exhibiting signs of alcohol intoxication. The officers performed a DUI evaluation and determined that Chowdhury was driving while under the influence of alcohol. Chowdhury was subsequently arrested for DUI and further investigation revealed that he was driving on s suspended California Driver License. Chowdhury was booked into the Yolo Jail for DUI and driving on a suspended license.
