Reggae Music, Bee-A-Thon, Cheese Making On Tap For This Week

There's no shortage of things to do this week in Davis. These are our pics for the things you must not miss. 

Hands-on Cheese Making 

If making cheese is your thing, you are going to want to go down to Davis Food Co-op Teaching Kitchen 537 G St, Davis, on Tuesday at 6 p.m. and partake in some cheese. 

Learn to make chevre with Chef Jules this summer! Hear about her adventures on  an organic farm milking goats and making black market chevre. The price is $30,  and includes optional alcohol pairing.

Bee-a-Thon

It's a local celebration that's dedicated to teaching about the wonders of pollination. 

A honey-inspired lunch kicks off the fun at noon, over at Monticello Restaurant. Then, from 1-1:30, honey lovers are invited to the Davis Food Co-Op's fruit stand for a pollination chat. Take a look at the full list of activities on our events page. 

One Love, One Heart Reggae Music Festival

If you are looking for something fun to do over Labor Day Weekend why not take in the sun-soaked sounds of the One Love, One Heart Reggae Music Festival in Sacramento? The fun takes place at the Sacramento River and the day will be filled with music, food, camping and vendors. Fun for the whole family.
