Suspect Knocks Out Victim in Downtown Fight, Runs From the Scene

The suspect and his associate fled the area and were last seen running northbound on G St. towards 3rd St.

 

An argument between four males on G Street in Downtown Davis turned violent early Thursday morning when a suspect lunghed forward and punched a victim, according to the Davis Police Department. 

The victim was knocked unconscious, and the suspect and his companion fled the scene. This was around 1:40 a.m. According to the Davis Police Department:

The suspect and his associate fled the area and were last seen running northbound on G St. towards 3rd St. The suspect is described as a Hispanic male between 20 and 25 years old, approximately 5’10” tall weighing 180 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt and brown shorts.

The victim, a 21 year old Davis resident, was taken to UC Davis hospital with moderate injuries.
