The suspect is an Anthony Maurice McCune, a 28 year old West Sacramento resident. McCune is described as an African American male, 5’6” tall, weighing 150 pounds with black hair and brown eyes.
McCune is normally dressed in nice attire and sometimes wears a tie. McCune has been known to speak with a southern accent and has spoken about is upbringing in Alabama.
McCune poses as a door-to-door charity worker using an organizational name of Urban Development Solutions (UDS). Once McCune obtains personal checks, he alters the payee line or the amount and proceeds to cash the checks or deposit them into an account.
