Video: Drafted District Maps Parse Up Yolo County

The first drafts of the new California Congressional, Senate and Assembly maps all carve Yolo County into several pieces. Many believe this works against the greater interests of the county, as was demonstrated at a meeting in downtown Davis Wednesday night called "Redistricting the State: The Yolo Interest."

A hearing will be held on June 28th at the State Capitol (Room 4203) from 6-9pm for those who would like to make comments and suggest changes. (Two minutes maximum). Visit We Draw The Lines for more information about the maps and the process.
