VIDEO: Why Common Grounds is Closing & Where it May Be Headed

Owners of Common Grounds Coffee, Son Chong and Michelle Kim, say they received a letter from their landlord this week informing them that their lease would not be renewed, meaning they would need to close the store in one week. 

They're under the impression that the landlord was able to reach a better deal with Starbucks. 

The last day of operation will be Easter. We stopped by the store to let them tell their story and to ask about any relocation plans. Watch the video above to hear from the owners.
