Where in Davis Should Common Grounds Coffee Reopen?

Common Grounds Coffee was a staple of south Davis, but the owners say they received a letter from their landlord last week informing them that their lease would not be renewed. They closed their doors on Easter Sunday and a Starbucks is expected to come in as a replacement. 

But the owners plan to reopen Common Grounds somewhere else in Davis, probably in about three months. Tell us where you'd like to see the coffee shop reopen in the comments below. 

Here are a few possibilities, most of which are near central Davis, which is where the owners suggested they may be headed. 

• SaveMart Parking Lot (Near Taqueria Guadalajara) 
• Depot building by the Amtrak Station
• Near Davis Food Co-op & Monticello Seasonal Cuisine
• Across from Central Park on C Street (Small house near Yolo Berry)
