4 Hurt in Pomona Apartment Fire, Including Cop, Firefighter
A woman and child sustained minor injuries. The police officer and firefighter were treated for smoke inhalation and heat exhaustion

Four people, including a Los Angeles County firefighter and Pomona police officer, suffered minor injuries Tuesday in a fire that damaged two apartments.
Firefighters were called at 2:51 p.m. to the apartment building in the 1300 block of South San Antonio Avenue, a county fire dispatcher said.
A Pomona police officer helped save an occupant from the burning building before fire crews arrived and was treated for smoke inhalation. A firefighter was also treated for heat exhaustion, and a woman and child suffered minor injuries.

The fire was knocked down at 3:21 p.m.
The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
