DIAMOND BAR, CA — The deadline is quickly approaching for Diamond Bar residents to nominate their fellow community members for the Good Neighbor Award.

Residents have until Aug. 31 to nominate their fellow Dimond Bar resident who has “demonstrated acts of outstanding service” in their community. These acts can be as simple as volunteering at a local organization or donating to a charity, city officials said in a statement.

"All nominees must have demonstrated acts of outstanding service for the Diamond Bar community during the past year, which improved the lives of those around them in the Diamond Bar community," according to a city statement.
