Diamond Bar to Honor Veterans, Seeks Photo Submissions
The ceremony is planned for Nov. 7.

The city of Diamond Bar plans to honor service members at its Veterans Day Ceremony in November and is seeking the community's help with the tribute.
The city is looking for photographs of retired or discharged service members who live or have lived in Diamond Bar, according to the city's website. Photos submitted should be of a veteran in uniform and/or during active service. The veteran's name, military branch and occupation specialty, dates of service, and awards earned should also be provided.
Copies of the photos are suggested because submissions won't be returned. Send submissions, which must include a contact name and phone number, to Community Services Coordinator Andee Tarazon by email to atarazon@diamondbarca.gov. They can also be mailed or home delivered to Diamond Bar City Hall, 21810 Copley Drive, Diamond Bar, CA 91765.
The Veterans Day Ceremony will be at 9 a.m. Nov. 7 at the Diamond Bar Center, 1600 Grand Ave.
Service members not previously recognized by the City Council, as well as those who have not participated in the city's Armed Forces Banner Program or who are no longer actively deployed, will be honored with an award and a commemorative pin.
